Our Lamb

We use 2 breeds for our breeding flock; Exlana's and Mule's. Both are great all round sheep with the exlanas being a type of easy care sheep, this means we do not have to shear them, they are more resistant to internal parasites and overall less intensive for both them and us.

All our Lamb is pasture raised with the occassional supplement feed where necessary, this is due to the unpredictability of weather and longer summer periods with no rain. We also will supplement feed our breeding ewes before lambing to make sure they have the energy they need!
