'Sustainability, quality and taste matters'

At L & O we believe in producing high quality products that don't have a large impact on our planet. As a small, local business we are able to reduce food miles and focus on using sustainable practices to provide good tasting, high quality food directly from our farm. Research has showed that livestock raised in higher welfare conditons are happier and produce better tasting meat which is why we strive to have happy animals, with high welfare standards being one of our main priorities.

Our Story

Back in 2019 we met at college, both studying Agriculture, by 2020 we were together and had decided we wanted to pursue our farming dreams further, despite neither of us coming from a farming background. By 2021 we were in our first year at Harper Adams University making plans of what we wanted to do in the future, the year after our university placements (working on-farm for a year) we decided we wanted to start a business beginning with turkeys. In April 2025, two Tamworth pigs came home with us (funny looking turkeys!) and this is where L & O Farms began. From the moment we finished our university studies we received our first batch of turkey poults ready for Christmas 2025.

We hope to continue expanding our business, and farm, from here and would love your support in doing so. We are learning along the way but will always put the welfare of our animals, quality of our products, and loyalty of our customers first.

We are based in Windsor and are local to Maidenhead, Bracknell, Slough, Datchet and other surrounding areas.
